At Wythenshawe Park Riding Stables we offer horse and pony trekking, otherwise known as a 'hack'.
This is the perfect way to introduce the new rider to the sport, or just for a fun day out for the family.

Your hack will take place in 109 hectares of open parkland in South Manchester, with historic and ornamental woodlands, herbaceous borders, formal bedding, open grassland and beautiful wildflower meadows.
We offer advanced riders the opportunity to join our Staff on a hack, where we will walk, trot and canter around the parkland (weather and ground permitting).

To take part in an advanced Trek the rider must have been assessed by our staff and be certified by our instructors to conduct a safe and controlled ride.

The Bank ride Is a excellent way to spend the day!
we mount at the stables and then make our way to the scenic TRANS PENNINE TRAIL. We often see amazing wild life and picturesque views that will take you away from hustle of the busy city life.
​
Advanced riders will be able to take part in a Bank Ride on completion of an assessment.
this trekking experience normally lasts approximately 2hours.
